For APS5 to New EL1 level staff. Two-day program followed by an executive coaching session.
Overview: This program helps emerging leaders strike the balance between engaging with strategy, tasks, and others. This practical course outlines your role as a leader while providing the opportunity to learn different skills and techniques that support effective management. You will engage in an interactive workshop that includes personal reflection, dynamic group discussion, and exploration activities. Post-program, you will receive an executive coaching session to transform your learning into action.

Enhancing your Leadership is a 2-day program aimed to support experienced EL1 staff to consolidate their expertise and prepare for the next step in their career. This course will explore building leadership awareness and identifying your purpose, decision making, adaptive leadership, coaching for collaboration, managing difficult conversations, inspiring others and leading in a complex environment.

For EL2 to SES staff.
Overview
Designed to enhance your ability to innovate, influence, and collaborate with key stakeholders and your team, this program helps you discover who you are as a leader. This is an opportunity to focus on your personal growth and development, equipping yourself for senior leadership roles within the APS through leading with integrity and courage.
Through this course you will:
- Build your self awareness.
- Explore leading with authenticity.
- Build your personal risk tolerance.
- Create commitment and purpose.
- Consider how you lead with integrity.
- Cultivate the skills and courage needed to manage adaptive workplace challenges .
- Build the skills to strategically influence others and lead change.

- Build and maintain resilience through transforming your internal dialogue.
Time Commitment
As a participant, you will attend the 5 day program over the course of 3 months supported by two executive coaching sessions, peer learning circles, and guest speakers. As part of the program, you will be invited to bring a primary leadership challenge that we work through collectively to build insight and strategies for progress.
